This is how JR80, the first limited edition from J.Rose, was created to celebrate Maestro Milo Manara's 80th birthday.

The J.Rose Gin JR80 Luxury Box is an elegant box containing the limited edition J.Rose 80 Gin, flanked by two glasses.

Furthermore, the lid of the box transforms into an authenticated painting of Milo Manara, an iconic comic book character.

The painting is handmade and composed of natural elements such as Carrara marble, chalk, and Roman travertine, the undisputed protagonists of the mixture.

The result is a natural surface reminiscent of ancient frescoes.

The story of the London Dry Gin "J.Rose" begins with an unusual and unconventional starting point: the idea came from Dario Roselli, owner of the exclusive Affreschi & Affreschi atelier, a company focused on the production of tailored wallpaper.

His collaboration with talented artists such as Milo Manara, an iconic comic book character, inspired Dario to embark on an adventure: the world of gin.

The foundations were laid for the 2021 Christmas gift season. Roselli sent his top customers bottles of spirits decorated with images of "Venus," the collection his company will be showcasing at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, designed by Milo Manara.

The success achieved convinced Roselli to immerse himself in this new project, commissioning Liquorificio Italia to create an artisanal gin using innovative production methods, using eight different labels from the "Venus" collection.

The nine carefully selected botanicals include juniper, Calabrian bergamot, angelica, cardamom, coriander, Peruvian maca, mandarin, prickly pear flowers, and one final secret ingredient.

The London Dry "J.Rosé" is a dry, citrusy, and pungent gin, warm on the initial palate, then transitioning into a silky, harmonious, and engaging sip, finishing on a fruity and slightly toasted aftertaste, provided by oak bark.

"JR80" is the first Limited Edition from J.Rose, created to celebrate the eightieth birthday of maestro Milo Manara. The label is inspired by dreams, because what you imagine already exists and lives in some corner of the universe.

The bottle has specific characteristics, as well as a unique label:

- The bottle is colored with a palette inspired by the sensual universe of the Master of Eros.

The unpublished illustration is inspired by an iconic 19th-century work.

The celebratory logo is composed of 80 symbols, one for each year of Milo Manara's birth.

The cap is in the same color and perfectly coordinated with the design.

The dagger is exclusive and reinterpreted in the colors of the main image.

The coaster is illuminated and themed for a unique visual effect.
