Gattinara Nervi is produced in the oldest winery in the entire Gattinara region, founded by Luigi way back in 1906. It is produced exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes, locally known as Spanna, grown in the Molsino, Valferana, Garavoglie, and Casacce vineyards, between 290 and 425 meters above sea level, on mineral-rich volcanic porphyry soils with a high clay content mixed with fine sand. It is clean, straightforward, and austere.

The sovereign of Piedmont, in this area the grape is known as 'Spanna' and, even in its basic version, manages to express an unconventional minerality, revealing unforgettable nuances. Aged for 36 months in oak barrels, Gattinara Nervi is a red that clearly represents its terroir, establishing itself as one of the finest Gattinaras on the market.

Ruby red with bright garnet highlights, the nose reveals notes of black cherry jam, cherries in alcohol, and juniper berries, followed by darker notes of medicinal herbs, cloves, and licorice, all pierced by fresh sensations of blood orange. The palate is warm, smooth, and structured, displaying a refreshing freshness and velvety tannins that complement a long, lingering undergrowth finish.
