Transcontinental Rum Line Jamaica WP 2007: 9 years in the tropics, plus another 6 in Europe

Jamaica WP 15 is a Jamaican Pure Single Rum aged over 14 years from the Worthy Park distillery and bottled in the Transcontinental Rum Line Single Cask series from La Maison du Whisky.

Distilled in 2007 at Worthy Park in a pot still, it is then aged for 9 years in a tropical climate in WP07JM01 ex-bourbon barrels. This Single Cask is then shipped to Europe to continue maturing for another 6 years.

It was then bottled in 2022 at 57.9% abv in a limited edition of 230 bottles.

TCRL recounts the historic journeys of barrels across the Atlantic between the Caribbean and Europe. For this reason, each bottle has undergone both continental and tropical aging.
