The name “añejo” comes from Spanish, and it translates to “old” or “vintage,” referring to tequilas that have been aged for at least one full year. PATRÓN Añejo is aged for 12 to 15 months in carefully selected oak barrels, and develops a complex tasting profile and smooth texture as it matures.
