The name "Taigh," meaning "home" in Scottish Gaelic, evokes the sense of belonging and intimate character of the distillery, built to reinterpret the classic style of Western Highland whiskies. The spirit is distinguished by a refined peaty profile, where smoke does not dominate but rather accompanies a broader aromatic texture, composed of marine notes, aromatic herbs, fresh fruit, and delicate spicy nuances.

On the palate, it displays a balanced and enveloping structure, with hints of soft peat, vanilla, citrus, honey, and oak, enriched by salty and mineral notes typical of Skye's coastal environment. The finish is persistent, elegant, and slightly smoky, leaving hints of sweet ash, spice, malt, and sea breeze.

The Torabhaig "Taigh" Single Malt Whisky label is a visual tribute to the deep connection between the distillery, the Isle of Skye, and the local community. The artwork was created by local artist Aileen Grant, who was asked to interpret the spirit of Taigh, a Scottish Gaelic term meaning "home" or "dwelling," through her creative language.

The illustration captures the essence of the Torabhaig distillery and the wild landscape of the Sleat Peninsula: an environment of windswept coastlines, hills, sea, and ancient traditions. The shapes and details of the illustration evoke a sense of belonging to an authentic place, transforming the bottle not just into a container for whisky, but into a visual narrative of the island and its atmosphere.

The decision to rely on a local artist reflects the distillery's philosophy, which considers whisky an expression of its "home": a spirit born from the encounter between raw materials, the natural environment, Gaelic culture, and craftsmanship. The label thus becomes an integral part of the Torabhaig experience, previewing the whisky's character: elegant, smoky, marine, and deeply rooted in Skye.

It presents a brilliant golden color with amber highlights that preview an elegant and complex aromatic profile.

The nose offers refined and well-integrated peat, with delicate notes of fireplace smoke, sweet ash, and embers, accompanied by marine scents of saltiness and coastal breezes. Aromas of barley malt, honey, vanilla, fresh citrus, and white fruit emerge, enriched with herbaceous nuances, white pepper, and light spicy notes.

On the palate, it is balanced and enveloping, with a pleasant combination of soft peat, malty sweetness, and freshness. Aromas of lemon, apple, honey, vanilla cream, and toasted cereals are distinct, complemented by smoky, mineral, and slightly saline notes that recall the character of the Isle of Skye.
