It was conceived on a March afternoon. During a walk among the lava fields of Etna, the idea of bottling the heady scents, perfumes, and aromas of that spring sunset was born. Juniper, the key botanical for gin, finds its ideal habitat on Etna, as does broom, the absolute princess with its color and dazzling scent. We infuse the gin with hazelnut for greater roundness, wild fennel to lend boldness to the spicy notes, and bitter orange for a fresh and expressive acidity. Volcano is a gin with elegant features and an aromatic and spicy character.

Volcano Gin was born from a spring walk among the lava fields of Etna. Our experience as sommeliers inspired us to create a product that would express Etna through a gin: a blend of different elements that, just like a wine from the volcano, brings together territory and vision in a glass.

Every detail of Volcano Gin is a tribute to fine drinking. The story of Etna through gin is expressed in the aesthetics of the sturdy glass, the result of a refined design. The lava stone cap is a small jewel of Piedimonte Etneo craftsmanship, made from 95% volcanic lava fragments. Every bottle of Volcano Gin brings a piece of Etna to your home.

Since 2018, we have been encapsulating the scents of Etna in our majestic bottles, handcrafted glass masterpieces, in a gin that tells the story of Sicily to the world. Here, among the Etna lava flows, juniper, broom, hazelnut, and wild fennel meet bitter orange to express the volcanic character and energy of a fascinating land.
