Foursquare "Mandamus" Mark XXIX is an edition of the renowned Exceptional Cask Selection series, crafted by Foursquare Rum Distillery of Barbados under the guidance of master distiller Richard Seale. This Single Blended Rum is a blend of pot still and column distillates, according to the distillery's tradition, and is bottled without added sugars, colorings, or chill filtration, fully preserving its authenticity and character.

Aging in oak barrels gives the distillate an extraordinary aromatic complexity, in which notes of ripe fruit, vanilla, and caramel intertwine with hints of cocoa, sweet spices, tobacco, and fine woods. On the palate, it is distinguished by a full and elegant structure, with a perfect balance between intensity, freshness, and smoothness, while the finish is long, warm, and persistent, enriched with hints of cocoa, candied citrus, and toasted oak.

It features a deep amber color with mahogany highlights, luminous and with great consistency. On the nose, it offers a rich and refined aromatic profile, with notes of candied orange peel, vanilla, caramel, and ripe tropical fruit, followed by hints of honey, dark cocoa, toasted hazelnuts, tobacco, leather, and sweet spices, all harmoniously supported by elegant oak nuances.

The entry on the palate is bold and enveloping, with a full and velvety structure. Flavors of toffee, dried fruit, dates, and ripe figs blend with dark chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, and nutmeg, while the oak expresses itself with great balance without ever overpowering.
