WHY IT'S DIFFERENT

Amaro Camatti is a historic Genoese specialty, created in 1924 in Recco by Umberto Briganti.

Its original recipe, now guarded by the Bergamino family, remains a partly secret, as per tradition.

The production process has remained as artisanal as possible: after a careful selection of the raw materials—among which almond, cinchona, peppermint, gentian, and bitter orange stand out—the infusion and maceration process is carried out, designed based on the characteristics of each herb and plant.

The resulting infusion is left to settle in stainless steel barrels or vats and then filtered to remove any impurities.

In 2023, the amaro earned the prestigious title of World's Best Bitter, awarded by the World Liqueur Awards jury.

HOW TO DRINK IT

Excellent enjoyed neat or on the rocks, Camatti amaro is also ideal for use in mixology.
