Originating in the early 19th century in the province of Alessandria, legend has it that the name "Lady's Kisses" was inspired by a love story. These Piedmontese biscuits owe their origin to the creativity of a chef from the House of Savoy, who created them in 1852 at the request of Vittorio Emanuele II. He had requested a new sweet treat to offer as a special gift to a beautiful woman. Hence the inspiration: the two half-nuggets of this specialty resemble two lips in the act of kissing. We offer them in two variations: the classic one and the one with cocoa.
