WHY IS IT DIFFERENT

Hampden Estate HLCF Classic is produced exclusively from the HLCF brand, which stands for Hampden Light Continental Flavored and includes rums with high ester concentrations, ranging from 400 to 600 g/hlpa. Hampden Estate has been operating since 1753 in Trelawny Parish, known as the grand cru of Jamaican rum, and began aging its Pure Single Rums in 2009. As with all its bottlings, this 100% pot still release is produced using unique and partly secret methods that have remained unchanged since the 18th century. Congener content: 3606.9 g/hlpa, of which 476.9 g/hlpa are esters.

INTERESTING FACTS

Trelawny is renowned for its biodiversity. Its most remote section, Cockpit Valley, is home to 26 species of native Jamaican birds, the largest butterfly in the Western Hemisphere, and the last Jamaican crocodiles.
