Hampden Great House Distillery Edition 2025: A New Edition for a Proven Classic

Hampden Great House is a blend of the most representative brands of the unique Hampden rum style. The 2025 edition, bottled at 57% ABV, is the seventh to date, and comprises the brands C<>H 2021; LFCH 2020; HLCF 2020; and HGML 2020.

The historic Jamaican distillery Hampden Estate, operating since 1753, produces a unique rum characterized by spring water, long fermentations with wild yeasts, distillation in double-retort copper pot stills, tropical aging in ex-bourbon barrels, and no added sugar or additives. It is located in the province of Trelawny, in the grand cru of Jamaican rum, and has been managed by the Hussey family since 2009. The estate is known for having the finest plots of land in the country, with one of the highest yields per hectare.

This new release also represents a historic moment for the spirits world, as it is a rum normally only available at the distillery, or in very rare releases outside the Jamaican market.
